What is all on 4?

All-on-4 is a treatment option that removes failing, damaged or missing teeth and involves replacing the teeth with 4 dental implants in the strongest part of the jaw and is a very effective solution for replacing a full arch or a full mouth of damaged or missing teeth . Your new teeth will look like natural teeth and will allow normal function as the prosthesis is anchored to immovable implants. All-on-4 treatment has been available for more than 15 years and is a well proven technique .

How does it work?

  • First we assess for suitability for the procedure. This involves assessment of any medical issues that may preclude this treatment.
  • We assess using a 3D xray the suitability for bone quality and quantity.
  • Any remaining teeth are removed and a minimum of 4 implants are placed -this will be done under oral or IV sedation
  • The same day a fixed acrylic bridge is made and inserted later that day.
  • A final fixed bridge will be made once the implants have healed.
